Meet the Committee!
President: Ali Langner
Ali is a bubbly and high-energy human studying English Language. After spending second year as Events Manager and a DeciBelle, she is very excited to lead CUAC this year with a natural enthusiasm for the society and her passion for all things A Cappella!
Vice President: Rose Baker
Rose is an enthusiastic, fun and relatable 3rd year Journalism, Communication and Politics student at Cardiff university. Being an Acatude cofounder and last year’s Publicity Officer, she is excited to take on more responsibility this year!
Publicity Officer: Mia Poku
Mia is a 3rd year psychology student with a strong love for A Cappella. She has also been a DeciBelle and an InterChorus member since 2017. She is looking forward to implementing all the social media ideas she has swimming around her brain!
Social Secretary: Hannah Gough
Hannah is a sassy, enthusiastic belle who is studying English Literature and Philosophy. Hannah loves a good party and a sing song, which is why she will be the Social Secretary this year, as her socials will include all things linked to A Cappella!
Secretary: Josephine Tanner
Josephine is in her final year of a psychology degree. She loves trying new restaurants and is a wannabe chef in the kitchen. After two years in Interchorus and a year with Acatude, Josephine is excited to be stepping up to be on committee as the Secretary of the CUAC society.
Events Manager: Megan Thomas
Megan is a final year Pyschology student who loves singing and performing. She’s been a member of InterChorus and Vox for four years, and is continuing her role as musical director for Vox this year. Having been on committee for a semester in her second year she’s excited to jump right into planning gigs and performances as this year’s Events Manager!
Treasurer: Shahbaaz Shanawaz
When not sobbing over a pile of maths equations, Shahbaaz can usually be found screaming his lungs out in clubs and screaming his heart out in InterChorus. As the first performance director InterChorus has had, he is known for dancing no matter what. Shahbaaz is super excited to manage the finances this year with the style and class of CUAC's "Most Sassy Member" in 2019.
